Working in proximity with wildlife can be unpredictable and dangerous for both the operator and the animal. It is very important to utilize tools and equipment to keep everyone safe at all times.  Wilcox Animal Service Bodies are designed to maintain the comfort and safety of animals in transport as well as for the operators, while they perform their duties.

LIGHTING

Proper Flood and Emergency lighting not only helps you perform tasks 24/7, but it is also essential for keeping people and animals safe.  Utilizing the correct lighting setup, not only allows operators to safely perform their required tasks in evening hours, but also alerts any on comers to a potentially hazardous area ahead.  Working with animals in poorly lit conditions has the potential for a disastrous situation. This can be nullified with the proper lighting set up.

SAFETY

The Wilcox Animal Services Truck Body design is based on the animal passenger’s comfort, followed by fit and functionality.  Stress of the animals will be at un all time high in these situations, which is why it was imperative that our design promotes comfort and safety. On-board air conditioning and heaters create a continuously monitored and regulated temperature.  Our removable compartment dividers offer protection and housing for multiple animal requirements. Light weight ramps not only provide safety for our animals entering and leaving the vehicle, but also offer operators much needed safety and ease while handling animals in these high stress environments.
