OUR STORY

Our story began in 1962, when then owner Rick Wilcox started Wilcox Truck Bodies in Streetsville, Ontario, Canada. At that time, Wilcox sold Van Bodies, Stake and Platform Bodies, Farm Bodies and performed the odd repair.  Back then, only a few Service and Utility Bodies were being produced.  In 1980, current owner John Dick, purchased Wilcox Bodies from Rick Wilcox where he then focused the business on the Production of custom steel and aluminum Service and Utility Truck Bodies.  Over the years, sales of Wilcox Truck Bodies flourished and the popularity spread across Canada and the United States.  John kept Wilcox’s production focusing on manufacturing high quality Truck Bodies and providing customers the best customer service in the industry.  As Wilcox Bodies popularity grew, so did their production facility as multiple facility additions were added over the years.  In 2007 Wilcox Bodies Limited moved from their outgrown facility in Streetsville, Ontario to the current, much larger production facility in Milton, Ontario.  In 2016 Wilcox Bodies was awarded Large Business of the Year honour from the Milton Chamber of Commerce, an achievement which is a direct reflection of our amazing staff and loyal customer base.  Wilcox Bodies is still a privately owned, second generation family run company, with John’s son, David Dick, now leading the way.  Still today, Wilcox keeps their small company feel, with focus on best in industry quality and customer services
